A Purification Visualization
At this time on our planet we are all experiencing the result of toxins and poisons in our air, water, food, and psychic environment. To strengthen our immunity and to purify we may:
- take herbs
- adjust the diet
- move the body in certain ways (yoga, t’ai chi)
- go to the wild places, and we may also envision our purity and strength.
- Take some time each day to purify – especially if you have a known toxic load.
So, sit quietly, breathe belly breaths, and relax the body and mind. Imagine that a great white being of total purity sits on the top of your head, in his/her etheric form. (This could be your master teacher such as Christ, Buddha, Mohammed, or your personal Deity such as Ganesh, Tara, or Vajrasattva). Pick your visualization by choosing the one whom you have prayed to the most in your life, or the one you have the most faith in. If in doubt pick Vajrasattva.
This Being of Great Purity radiates light which goes everywhere, including into the top of your head. When the light pierces your head, your two lower gates (urethra and anus) open up and release any negativity of thought, word, and deed (body, speech, and mind) – seen in the form of black smokey dark liquid.
Remember that even negative thoughts are purged in this way. Continue to let go of all impurities until they are completely gone.
The two lower gates then seal, and your body fills up with the Divine Nectar of Love and Power of the Enlightened (God-realized) Masters; like pouring water into a clean glass. As your body fills up with the nectar, it spills all over you like a fountain, bathing you in the essence of love and purity.
Take a few moments and enjoy the experience. Have full confidence that your impurities have been cleansed, then chant: OM VAJRA SATTVA HUNG, or a mantra associated with your lineage, for as long as you wish, then go into the silence.
At the end, visualize your Deity dissolving into a point of radiant light descending into your body and coming to rest in the upturned white lotus flower of your heart center. He/She resides there.
Finish by making any dedication prayers that you know, or simply bring to mind “May all beings benefit from this meditation/visualization.”
